The theme song is expected to represent Sri Lankan
music and culture. Theme song will be released at least couple of
months before ICC World Twenty20 begins.
Since, song of WT20 2012 is yet to be
released officially; we are providing launch video of ICC T20 World
Cup 2012 – Sri Lanka. The day, theme song is available, it will be
available for download. It is expected that Sri Lankan Cricket Board
and International Cricket Council will market the theme song through
its broadcast partner ESPN-Star Cricket. On the other hand, Government
of Sri Lanka is also exploring ways to increase its revenue by
attracting maximum tourist and cricket fans from other countries for
ICC WT20 2012.
